“Arthur tackles real social issues with more nuance than most children's shows, and the writing can be genuinely clever. It earns an F because the pacing is quick with frequent scene changes, interpersonal conflicts are prominent and sometimes unresolved, and the target age skews older than our preschool focus. For younger viewers, the social dynamics can be more stressful than educational.”
